Some gifts just land. The Fullstar Vegetable Chopper and Spiralizer is one of them. I’ve given it to family and friends more than a dozen times.
I use this chopper nearly every day—sometimes for every meal. It’s easy to store, effortless to use, and dishwasher safe (top rack). Honestly, by the time you’ve pulled out something bulky and plugged it in, you could’ve finished chopping.
Years ago, my dear friend Debra gifted it to me after hearing me complain about chopping onions for Thanksgiving. We host between 20 and 30 guests for a formal sit-down dinner each year, and, well, that means a mountain of veggies and onions. Every time I chopped the onions, I cried—literal tears. It didn’t exactly help my efforts to be a gracious chef, even in my cute little floral apron. I suppose I could’ve followed my nephew’s method: he wore swim goggles while chopping. Honestly? Not a bad idea.
Now I don’t cry onion tears.
The Fullstar makes it so much faster.
I love it so much I keep a few extras on hand. When guests ask about it, I gift them one. They always love it.
A quick tip: the chopper comes with a small comb for cleaning the grid. I missed this the first time and tossed it out with the packaging. But it’s essential—just a few swipes and it’s clean and ready for the dishwasher.
Another bonus: it even measures your chopped ingredients. Just turn it upright, and there it is—precise portions, no guesswork.
One last thing…
Don’t karate chop your chopper. It’s fun, but, um, no. I’ve broken a few that way. Just press down firmly and evenly, always keeping contact.
It’s durable when used correctly. blush
Happy chopping. ♥
