Honey Ladies Pure Honey

Three jars of The Honey Ladies Star Thistle Blossom Honey in various sizes

The Honey Ladies — Real Honey, Real Bees, Real Delicious

I eat honey every single day, and this is by far the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been ordering from The Honey Ladies for years. My favorite is the cherry blossom honey—when it’s in stock, I snatch it up. It’s like spooning sunlight. My second favorite is this one: Star Thistle Blossom Honey.

What makes their honey special? It’s 100% raw, unfiltered, and truly pure. That might sound obvious, but it’s not. According to testing done by Food Safety News, up to 75% of the honey sold in grocery stores isn’t technically honey—it’s been ultra-filtered and stripped of its pollen, which means it may contain additives and can’t be traced to its floral source. The Honey Ladies don’t do that. Their honey is the real thing.

They also rescue bees and are recognized as leaders in ethical beekeeping. Every jar supports both pollinators and the people who care for them.

And in case you’re a fellow bee nerd: a single honeybee only produces 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in her entire life. One twelfth! She’ll fly hundreds of miles, visit thousands of blossoms, and still not fill your spoon. Knowing that makes every golden drop feel sacred.

I’m just a fan—no sponsorship here, just years of happy reorders.

I am amazed by this fact as well. It takes 1200 bees to make one 16 oz. jar of honey. And the bees only live for 4-6 weeks during the summer.

Recently, bees were declared the most important living being on Earth.

I’ve decided to forego my lawn, which actually hurts our environment, and plant vegetation that birds, bees, and butterflies depend on. Too much urban sprawl and water-consuming, often pesticide-covered lawns decimate crucial habitat for these creatures.
