Even though I’m 5’4″, having a footrest on a plane feels like luxury.
It hangs from the tray table, adjusts easily, and takes up almost no space. I never regret packing it.
I use it on long flights to take pressure off my lower back and help with leg stiffness—especially if I can’t fully stretch out. It’s not fancy, but it makes a big difference.
It earned its keep on my 33-day Europe trip—and became a permanent part of my carry-on.
Why I like it:
-
Light and tiny. Folds small enough to stash in a side pocket or tote.
-
Simple to use. Loops onto the tray table. Adjust the straps for your height.
-
Saves my back. Feels more grounded and less crumpled on long-haul flights.
No, it’s not First Class. But close enough.
