Homemade Gift Basket Ideas

Baskets are so much fun to make and give! They are my go-to gift. First, I find an inspiration to match the person and the occasion, and then I match the additional items by color and theme.  Oh, and Home Goods has the best baskets! I love the rattan ones with the metal handles and stock up on them when I find them. They are just $5 or $6. They are warm, yet contemporary, and go with any decor.

Once I fill the basket with items, I use a picture frame for my homemade card that I create in Illustrator. I give meaning to each item in the basket, print it on a 4 x 6 pre-cut photo paper, let it dry, and then place it in the picture frame for use with a photo later.

Homemade baskets are great for any occasion. I’ve made them for housewarming gifts, birthdays, administrative assistant day, and more.
